The 2DS is priced right (starting at just $129.99). It’s available at numerous stores across Canada and the US. If you’re shopping for a fun portable gaming system for your child, I would look no further than the Nintendo 2DS. My daughter is hooked on Kirby Triple Deluxe (I have to admit, I’ve tried to “help” her pass a few levels on many occasions…) but you can also get some great classics like Mario Cart and cool current games like Big Hero 6. The games for the Nintendo 2DS are pretty awesome.(You would have no idea how many batteries I’ve been through with other hand held devices). The other feature I appreciate greatly is that it recharges with an AC adaptor. The connection speed of the 2DS is very fast. My daughter has really enjoyed watching YouTube videos on her 2DS. I really like that you do not need to plug in the 2DS to download games or get updates. It connects easily to your home internet. I have to say I am probably most impressed with the wifi capability of this system.Needless to say, I found out pretty quickly that this is a cool little machine. She soon explained to me how to charge, use the controls and use the internet on her new Nintendo 2DS. To my surprise, she already knew lots about the Nintendo 2DS. She received a shinny new Nintendo 2DS and the game Kirby Triple Deluxe. My daughter was overjoyed when she opened her birthday present this April. Since she’s a big girl now (8 years old!) she was ready to graduate to a video game system that focussed more on fun games than learning math. She is very tech savvy and has always enjoyed handheld video game systems. My daughter has been asking me for a Nintendo DS for almost one year.
